OpenQuake - HDF5 plugin

Hi RiskScape Team.

I’m attempting to use the optional OpenQuake plugin supplied with RiskScape 1.13.0.

I enabled the hdf5 and openquake plugins via settings.ini. RiskScape seems to detect both plugins, however:

  • The OpenQuake plugin depends on the HDF5 plugin.
  • The HDF5 plugin attempts to start but fails with: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no hdf5_java in java.library.path

The HDF5 plugin folder contains (jarhdf5-1.12.2.jar and plugin.jar) and the RiskScape documentation notes that the HDF5 plugin is supported against HDF5 version 1.12.2.

Could you please advise:

  1. Which HDF5 Windows runtime/package should be installed for RiskScape 1.13.0?
  2. Does RiskScape require HDF5 1.12.2 specifically?
  3. The HDF Group archive page I found only lists 1.12.0 and 1.12.1 under the 1.12 release branch. ( Index of /ftp/HDF5/releases/hdf5-1.12 ) Is there a recommended download location for the required version?
  4. Whether an example settings.ini with [hdf5] lib_path = ... is available?
